| A positive trait that many people want is patience. Negatively, we all have witnessed the impatience in shopping lines. Just the other day I was out with friends at a store getting gifts wrapped and the employee took forever to wrap our items. I could feel the anger and frustration from the long line behind me, all signs of the dreaded impatience. Of course, I also felt impatient with the lady when she took forever with the couple in front of me. Other evils were perpetrated as a result, with thoughts such as, "her name tag says she's from Afghanistan, that must be why she is so slow."
I recently heard a message which described impatience as this: Impatience is an indication that I am taking satisfaction in my own uninterrupted plans. The more my plans are uninterrupted, and I can do what I want, when I want, where I want to, I feel really good, but when someone interferes with my plans, I feel impatient.
Ok, so, long shopping lines will make anyone impatient. But I think this applies to any situation when we find ourselves impatient. Where are we trying to find our satisfaction? In my own satisfaction that my plans are going uninterrupted? or is it something else? Just some thoughts.

| After a slow and grueling start to finish, I turned in my last exegetical paper today. I seriously did not think I could finish this one. I can not believe the amount of papers I turned in in the course of 4 years. A few hundred pages written. Thousands of pages read.
I'm pretty much on cruise control now until one final on the 31st. Graduation two days after that. Then.................................................................................................................................Pawty time!

| Ok, I'm usually very skeptical of these miracle foods that are "cure alls" but when my mom told me about this, I had to do some research. My allergies have been killing me these days. It got so bad that I would sneeze like ten times in a row. I thought my eyes were going to pop out! Well, my mom had some bad allergies but she started to take Apple Cider Vinegar and now her allergies are completely gone. After some Googling, I came across this site. The people who take this swear by it. It has all these testimonies of people taking it and having their allergies cured or severely reduced. It is said to even get rid of acne and pimples and giving you that glow to your face. I will keep you all updated!

| My mom calls me the other day and says she and dad are going to pick up a puppy. I ask them what kind and she says its a North Korean dog called Pungsan (pronounced poongsahn). Apparently, it is a valuable National Treasure no. 121 designated by the Korean Government.. It is four months old and my mom was worried cause the dog was so scared of people. It was so scared that it wouldn't even go out to do its business so my dad had to carry it out. I asked him about her tail and he said it was tucked underneath. It turns out that the breeder never touched it after it was born and it been just chilling with her parents. According to my mom, Coco's mom still let her nurse from her...milk-secreting glandular organs. All her siblings apparently got sold. Anyhow, this dog didn't have human contact for 4 months (which made me angry at the breeders!). At least she has a better home now. So she has some catching up to do in terms of socialization but i think she's still young enough. My parents said the dog is real nice and gentle but lacking in confidence so I told them what i learned from the Dog Whisperer (Cesar Millan). I saw an episode where a country dog came to NYC and lost its confidence and was scared of everything (like Coco). The solution? Tie a string around the tail and keep it up when it goes to places its scared of. I told my parents to try that: It worked on the show. Can't wait to see Coco when I go back home next week.
